3K Protech can clean systems to Specification by flushing alone, which relies on “Mechanical Removal” of particles through properly engineered and managed velocities and the application of heat. It is typically recommended however, that the “Operating Fluid” be filtered first, or as the system is filled, since many “New” Oils and Fluids actually contain more particles than desired, or than the system specification allows, when preparing equipment with very tight tolerances. Control valves, bearings, cylinders and instrumentation are subject to scoring if the oil is not thoroughly cleaned.
